A man has been sentenced to a minimum of 42 years in prison for murdering two men and dumping their remains in suitcases near Clifton Suspension Bridge.<\/p>\n

Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, killed civil partners Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, on July 8 last year in their flat in Scotts Road, Shepherd\u2019s Bush, west\u00a0London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mosquera, who was staying with the couple, \u2018decapitated and dismembered\u2019 them, froze parts of their remains and took the rest in suitcases to Clifton Suspension Bridge in\u00a0Bristol<\/a>, the prosecution said.<\/p>\n

Sentencing Justice Bennathan jailed him for an additional 16 months for possessing \u2018horrifying\u2019 indecent images and videos of children.<\/p>\n

Justice Bennathan told the court that \u2018unlawful child porn\u2019 was found on\u00a0Mosquera\u2019s laptop, adding: \u2018They were examined and in it were found at least 1,500 category A indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs, some of them moving images of children.\u2019<\/p>\n

Mosquera\u00a0also possessed at least 750 category B images and no fewer than 4,000 category C images.<\/p>\n

He repeatedly stabbed Mr Alfonso, who suffered injuries to his torso, face and neck, while Mr Longworth was attacked with a hammer on the back of his head, and his skull was shattered.<\/p>\n

Mr Alfonso enjoyed extreme sex, and Mosquera, a Colombian national he met online years earlier, was part of that world.<\/p>\n

Mr Alfonso was stabbed during a filmed session, with footage played in court showing Mosquera asking \u2018Do you like it?\u2019 while singing and dancing after the attack.<\/p>\n

Seconds later, he went on a computer to try to steal from his victims\u2019 bank accounts.<\/p>\n

Jurors heard that Mosquera attempted to open a bank account using the Scotts Road address.<\/p>\n

Immediately after the murders, he accessed a spreadsheet of financial passwords and tried to log in to the couple\u2019s bank accounts. He unsuccessfully tried to send \u00a34,000 to his account in Colombia.<\/p>\n

Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told the court Mosquera\u2019s plan had been to throw the suitcases off the bridge to dispose of the remains after the \u2018calculated\u2019 and \u2018premeditated\u2019 killings.<\/p>\n

He admitted killing Mr Alfonso but claimed it was manslaughter by reason of loss of control.<\/p>\n

He pleaded not guilty to murdering both men and claimed Mr Alfonso killed Mr Longworth.<\/p>\n

Mosquera told the jury he feared for his own life and believed he was about to be killed when he stabbed Mr Alfonso.<\/p>\n

Computer searches for the phrase \u2018where on the head is a knock fatal\u2019 were made on the day the couple were killed.<\/p>\n
