Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0could have an old rival to face if he somehow alters the Constitution and runs again for\u00a0US<\/a>\u00a0President in 2028.<\/p>\n

Kamala Harris<\/a>, who lost to the Republican, hinted that she could run again for President in 2028 in her first wide-ranging interview in the UK.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg<\/a>, Harris branded Trump a \u2018tyrant\u2019 as she hit out at billionaires who seemingly bow down to his every whim.<\/p>\n

The former vice president said: \u2018There are many that have capitulated since day one who are bending the knee at the foot of a tyrant.<\/p>\n

\u2018I believe, for many reasons, including they want to be next to power because they want to, perhaps, have a merger approved or avoid an investigation.\u2019<\/p>\n

Harris also blasted Trump\u2019s chosen media regulator put pressure on ABC to fire Jimmy Kimmel after the host made a joke about the\u00a0President\u2019s reaction to the death of right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018You look at what has happened in terms of how he has weaponised, for example, federal agencies going around after political satirists\u2026 His skin is so thin he couldn\u2019t endure criticism from a joke, and attempted to shut down an entire media organisation in the process.\u2019<\/p>\n

The 61-year-old insisted her political career was far from over despite being trounced in the electoral college vote when she took over from\u00a0Joe Biden<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018My god, my god, what will happen to our country?\u2019 Harris says she repeated when the result came through.<\/p>\n

Harris, who firmly believes there will be a woman in\u00a0the White House<\/a>\u00a0in the near future is still undecided as to whether she runs again.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am not done,\u2019 the former vice-president said. \u2018I have lived my entire career as a life of service and it\u2019s in my bones.\u2019<\/p>\n

Harris said she sees herself as a leader of the party, including in pushing back against Trump and preparing for the 2026 midterms.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s recently given a series of interviews following the\u00a0September release\u00a0of her book,\u00a0\u2018107 Days\u2019 looking back on her experience replacing Biden in 2024.<\/p>\n

The White House hit back at Kamala\u2019s \u2018absurd lies\u2019 when asked to respond by the broadcaster.<\/p>\n

\u2018When Kamala Harris lost the election in a landslide, she should\u2019ve taken the hint \u2013 the American people don\u2019t care about her absurd lies,\u2019spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told the\u00a0BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018Or maybe she did take the hint and that\u2019s why she\u2019s continuing to air her grievances to foreign publications.\u2019<\/p>\n

Several potential candidates are already taking steps to get to know voters in key states, including California Gov.\u00a0Gavin Newsom, term-limited Kentucky Gov.\u00a0Andy Beshear\u00a0and California Rep.\u00a0Ro Khanna.<\/p>\n
