BBC\u00a0<\/a>viewers have described the latest episode of\u00a0Celebrity Traitors<\/a>\u00a0as \u2018absolute cinema\u2019 following a history-making roundtable vote.<\/p>\n

Things are heating up inside the Scottish castle as fan favourites continue to be either murdered in the night by traitors or banished by fellow contestants.<\/p>\n

At the start of Wednesday night\u2019s episode, viewers learned the fate of Charlotte Church, who was murdered by the trio of traitors \u2013 Cat Burns,\u00a0Alan Carr<\/a>\u00a0and Jonathon Ross \u2013 in an attempt to bamboozle the group.<\/p>\n

The singer became the sixth faithful to exit the series, alongside actor Ruth Codd, comedian Tameka Empson,\u00a0Clare Balding<\/a>,\u00a0Tom Daley<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Paloma Faith.<\/p>\n

However, following the most dramatic roundtable discussion yet, fans are hailing the latest episode as \u2018one for the ages\u2019.<\/p>\n

Despite several of the traitor\u2019s names being mentioned throughout the day, including Jonathan who has attracted suspicion in the past, Mark Bonnar\u00a0and David Olusoga each received the same number of votes at the roundtable voting.<\/p>\n

The roundtable voting produced a never before seen moment on the BBC series (Picture: BBC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Joe Marler heavily accused Mark of being a traitor because of the way he observed people at Paloma\u2019s funeral and his \u2018over the top theatrics\u2019.<\/p>\n

Jumping on the bandwagon, Alan also accused the\u00a0Line of Duty<\/a>\u00a0star of being a traitor.<\/p>\n

But before their theory could be pushed further, historian David attracted suspicion from the rest of the group, causing an equal split in the number of votes between them.<\/p>\n

As host Claudia Winkelman confirmed that another vote would have to be taken, load groans could be heard throughout the room as everybody turned back to their chalkboards.<\/p>\n

Amazingly, both Mark and David received the same number of votes again, with five each.<\/p>\n

As the housemates could scarcely believe what they were hearing, some of the contestants started to realise that this had \u2018never happened before\u2019.<\/p>\n

Claudia confirmed that this was a one-of-a-kind scenario and in Thursday night\u2019s episode we will now learn who will be banished as David and Mark take part in a \u2018game of chance\u2019.<\/p>\n

While the exact rules of this game have not yet been made clear, taking to\u00a0social media<\/a>, fans declared that they \u2018never thought\u2019 they would see such a thing take place.<\/p>\n

@chloefayoakley wrote on X: \u2018Not Mark and David having to plea when they are both faithfuls \ud83e\udd23\ud83e\udd23\ud83e\udd23 the traitors deserve the win at this point #CelebrityTraitors\u2019<\/p>\n
