Ditch your weekend plans to binge ‘wild’ Netflix crime series that’s surged to number 1

Do you have Netflix? Do you love a good crime series? Well then, we’re going to make you an offer you can’t refuse.

There’s a fantastic new documentary that only landed on Netflix on October 22 but has already soared to the number 1 spot on the streaming service’s chart.

Mob War: Philadelphia vs. The Mafia is a three-part docuseries that tracks the history of Philly’s criminal underworld begining soon after the arrest of the infamous Nicky Scarfo in 1986.

What followed was a bloody war between established mobsters and a new breed of criminal who had no respect for the Mafia’s ‘outdated’ traditions.

As the factions fought for power, however, they caught the attention of the FBI, which sought to crush organised crime in Philly forever.

‘As a 3rd generation native Philadelphian, I’d say very authentic description of the culture of South Philly and the FBI, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of being personally acquainted when they were investigating a business I was working for in the 80s. Definitely worth watching.’
